Lena was not in attendance to update the board.

Treasurer’s Report

Tom has not been added as a viable signature.  There are no invoices yet for the banners or the Tour of Homes brochure.  Steve is still trying to work out the accounting problem with the CDC’s check for $175.

Web site

The board discussed enhancements for the web site.  Mary would like a list of historic homes on the National Registry.  Currently there are only two – Mr. Gardner's house and St. James House of Prayer.  Mary also wants past prominent residents – this will take some research.   Would like to include information about/from Officer Skypack and Deputy Dusty.  There was a motion to write a letter to Major McNamara requesting to use Officer Skypack and Deputy Dusty’s photos on the website.  Motion passed unanimously.  We discussed the web site host problem but more information needs to be gathered from Mike and Malign Spooks.  Mary also wants links to code enforcement put on the web site.

New Forms

Porch parties – there are still plenty of spaces left to sign up as a host for a 2004 porch party.  This needs to be announced at each general membership meetings.  Membership Applications – Steve created forms for each of us to circulate to our neighbors.

Guests speakers

Several guests speakers were suggested for upcoming meetings including Mayor Iorio, Kevin White, Shannon Edge, Bank of America/Leslie Land Corporation, Major McNamara, Jim Davis, Arthenia Joyner, Les Miller and Senator Hargrett.

Ideas

Citizen of the Year Award -  Mary would like to nominate Cedric Fluker but will open nominations to the General Membership.

Yard of the Month -  what months should we run this program.  Winners will receive signage to display in their yards.  The board will consider a small gift certificate as well.

Christmas Stroll -  Mary will contact Roger’s Christmas house for more information on this opportunity.
