109 W. Columbus Dr.
109 West Columbus Dr.
has gone through many transformations. Originally, it was made up of four
individual store fronts which comprised 109-115
West Columbus
. Some of the businesses which made up the history of this, now combined
property include a hairdresser, drycleaners and an automotive parts and
accessories store. Most recently, however, it was a mission to feed the poor.
In February of 2002 new life was breathed into this
property with the vision of new owners Erika Greenberg-Schneider, Dominique
Schneider and Esther Aline Schneider. Extensive renovations were necessary and
are currently ongoing in the space.
This will be the first live/work space or
“Cottage Industry” in this part of Tampa
and it is also part of the new proposal for the extension of the Tampa
Heights Historic District.
