This home was built in 1910 and the Altman’s describe it as
“a never-ending labor of historic architectural love and a
genuine love of our historic Victorian home."
Most recently they have added more solid pine floors and replacing
all interior doors with four-panel solid wood doors as per the period of
home and forever sanding, staining and painting!
This home features incredible original moldings throughout the home,
arched entryways into many rooms, majestic cascading curved ceiling above
the 4-ft. wide stairway, built-in cabinets and curved front rooms with
fireplaces on both floors.
The home, originally on Palm Avenue, was built for the first rabbi in
Tampa.
“Although quite large and with 10-ft. high ceilings, the detailed nature
of the home and it's period-ness really creates a cozy, warm, lived-in
feel to our 1910 Victorian,” said the Altman’s.
